Encryption keys are generated on your device and stay under your control. Weavid does not have access to the keys used to decrypt your private messages.

What does "creator-controlled" mean?
Your content belongs to you — not Weavid. You control what you post, who sees it, and what happens to it. We don't claim license rights to monetise your work, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
What does Kickstarter funding actually build?
Five specific features: Creator Studio (editing, publishing, analytics), community completion (threads, moderation, member management), messaging enhancements (full UX, media, retention), profile and discovery, and public beta infrastructure. Each has defined milestones and backer deliverables.
Is this a finished app or a concept?
Neither. The foundation is built and running in closed alpha on iOS and Android — you can install it, log in, and use it today. But it's not finished. The campaign funds the specific features that complete it.
Will there be ads?
Weavid has no plans to run ads. The platform is funded by subscriptions and creator tools — not by tracking users or selling their data.
What platforms does it support?
iOS and Android. Both in active development with a shared codebase.
When does the campaign start and end?
The campaign is live now and runs for 30 days, closing in May 2026. Kickstarter only charges backers if the campaign reaches its funding goal.
